At the same time Fernando was one of the most wasted talents of all time. He was incredible in that ring at that age. Then he got thrown in with Trinidad and that all ended in one night.

Canelo isn't in the same league as Fernando was IMO.

vargas, and i'm not even his fan. vargas was a completely different animal who imo was ready to go at his early 20s. i don't expect alvarez to be at his complete best until he reaches his late 20s. vargas seemed like a guy who we would have seen his best before age 28.
