It is, for a young man who cuts a lot of weight to make 155. Who regularly fights at 170lbs and above. If he were 35, he wouldn't be able to drain to 155 without seriously hurting himself.

That being said though, Floyd completely outclassed him. The only time Canelo had any vague success, was the time when Floyd took his foot off the gas. Canelo being drained or not had no bearing to the outcome of the fight

I don't think so. Canelo isn't just that good that they make him out to be.

He's maybe a top 20 p4p fighter now but if he beat GGG he would have arrived and Floyd would get credit for besting him. But why don't Floyd jet beat GGG?

And do you think Canelo could pull out the victory over Mayweather?
          Yes, and no.

If Canelo stops Golovkin, to become WBC/WBA/IBF 160 champion, Floyd-Canelo 2 (depending on the type of numbers that Alvarez-Golovkin does) becomes a 2m-3m PPV buys show; Floyd, with the layoff, seems more mortal, Canelo, with his run of wins, now looks to be heading into the prime of his career, the size factor is still a key issue, and Floyd would also be chasing 50-0. utter blockbuster.

After all of the hoopla, when the fight actually commences, the reality of the situation will still settle in; Canelo's the bull, while Floyd is arguably the greatest matador to ever compete. Canelo tries to move in on Floyd, but Floyd's understanding of the ring, his freakish length, the fact that he's kept his body fit, and all of that veteran guile picked up, over a life dedicated to the sport is enough for him to work to a hard-fought 8-4 decision win.

mayweather is the A-side and he toys with alvared even easier.by the way. alvared drained himself and it still won't make a difference at any weight. he's not good enough to beat mayweather

Floyd didn't show nearly as much offensively against Berto as he did against Pacquiao, or anyone else for that matter, and it wasn't because Berto was doing anything to trouble him. Berto basically spent that night smothering his own punches but Floyd seemed unable to do much with that.. IMHO Floyd looked shot in that fight and shouldn't return.

I don't see why Floyd would come out for that fight. Canelo is certainly a big draw and fans would like to see the fight but I think the results would mirror that of the first fight. Floyd is too smart and his ability to disguise distance would leave the Flat footed Canelo swinging at air once again.
