Nothing to be ashamed about getting caught and hurt tbh..He did seem to take shots better while fighting and training with Roach/Ariza tho..It would not hurt to look into bring Ariza back on..
That's not the point. People are still hanging onto the "old" Khan. He's a KO waiting to happen in EVERY fight. Even against bums.
I hope the kid can pull it out the bag and improve, I enjoy his fights, never short of excitement.
He needs to sort that defence out and somehow try to prevent that hook landing on him so much. Yes he will hit the canvas, but he can get back up and recoup and box on, just learn to accept the KD's and clinch and hold do whatever but don't get into a brawl, I was impressed that he got back in the Diaz fight and didn't brawl, he recouped back quicker because he exerted less energy and took less shots.
There was always going to be some cost involved in Khan trying to change his ways, there was always going to be a transitional phase where he was going to have to adjust to a new style. No one ever said he was going to be transformed overnight.
I think the question is whether or not what Hunter has in mind is a good idea in the first place? Maybe it's just a stupid idea to try make fundamental changes to what this guy is at this stage of his career?
How many times does this guy have to do the stanky leg?
Honestly though like Roger Mayweather said... ''Speed ain't s*** if you don't know how to use it'' and he doesn't know how to use it. He's the most predictable fighter... jumps inside, flurries, jumps out. Now he looks even more predictable and vulnerable, when he's ''defensive'' from what we saw against Diaz he's running away and looking vulnerable as hell. Seriously Kahn was destroyed mentally and physically by Garcia... never has someone had to eat their words so much after a fight... he did the stanky leg too
What is Ariza up to now anyway? He's gone pretty quiet.
Tbh khans recovery powers seemed fairly decent in the fight against Diaz, when he was hurt he had his legs back within 15-20 seconds. Probably because he was actually holding instead of circling the ring.
For Khan to be world class level, he needs to find Wolverine and pay him to track the folks dat did him, then get some adimantium bonded to his chin, then he'll be good to go. Other than that Khan will simply be an exciting fighter just waiting to get ko'd. Find Wolverine Khan, it's the only way,.

And possibly because Diaz isn't exactly the second coming of Julian Jackson.
As for Ariza, someone asked him this on twitter the other day:
Zubair Khan @mrkhanz 28 Apr
@ArizaFitness ok so who do you think khan should face next? Better question who do you think would be better Garcia/mathysse/Peterson?
Alex Ariza @ArizaFitness 28 Apr
None of em!
Zubair Khan @mrkhanz 28 Apr
@ArizaFitness he can't avoid them as this "tournament" is happening. Personally Peterson would be the best choice

@ArizaFitness @FightfansUnite Alex would you agree neck/leg training help fighters withstand heavy shots? Or a glass chin is a glass chin?
Alex Ariza @ArizaFitness
Well clearly neck training doesn't!...
Legs are the foundation of everything!
I don't see himself and Khan being reunited anytime soon.
