  • How prevent bruising?

    Whenever I take a hit in sparring or a fight I bruise really easily even my arms bruise from blocking hits
    so does anyone know any ways to toughen up your skin to stop it bruising?

    no, there is no way to prevent bruising since that depends from person to person.

      Unless there is some outside factor, like excessive drinking, vitamin defeciancy, etc. I don't think there is a whole lot that can be done, except maybe toughening up the skin a bit, but I don't know how much that'd help or if it'd even work.

        Don't know if it actually helps against brusing, but a kickboxing instructor i know has his students roll dowl rods over their shins and forearms.

          Potassium helps in reducing bruising. Usually people who bruise easily tend to have a deficiency in potassium.

          Try eating more bananas or supplement potassium.

            Actual answer: Eat healthy, reduce alcohol consumption, not all supplements are needed, avoid certain pain pills, and some potassium can help.

              I am not 100% sure, may vaseline to make other guy punches slide more?
