Phil as GM is a disaster in the making, resigning Carmelo was a huge mistake.. Any smart GM would have let him walk and tanked this year and built thru draft and free agency.. They couldn't do any worse without Carmelo this year, they should have had him walk, and then have tons of cash and people would have expected them to be bad,,, having a max guy that doesn't win you anything, let alone a playoff spot in the weak east won't attract talent to your team,,, having no superstar and a lot of draft picks, youth and cap space will draw interest from major free agents, but not with Carmelo already signed...

Phil sucks as GM.... Handing Carmelo a new deal just showed how stupid Jackson is as GM
