Slow cooked rack of ribs with Chinese style sauce, cooked over a 8-9 period.
Anyone used a slow cooker before?
What is are some good recipes to try?

I've done pulled pork on mine when I first got it.
Now I just use it to heat up gallons of nacho cheese.

I done ribs and pulled pork in the crockpot which is close but never tried a slow cooker, probably similar though.

I don't cook so what's the difference from sticking it on a low heat on the ring and a slow cooker if any?

They are slower than cooking that way and need less supervision.

I think the crockpot you are referring to is the same thing; a slow cooker.
