It's just a tune up fight. Big deal. He can make probably just as much money as he would fighting GGG with a lot less of a risk. As a Floyd fan, it shouldn't be that strange a concept to you.

Martinez has fought tough opponents for not great pay for years, he's now in a position to look for fights that make more money. Like it or not, Murray going to Argentina will probably make him more than GGG.
      Uh no he wasn't

And so what if Murray fought to a draw with Sturm? What does that mean? Golovkin has actually had American exposure with an impressive knockout win on HBO. I don't see how Murray makes him more money.

So you agree thats its a duck then. Tune up? Fuck outta here bro. This dude was calling out Cotto, Canelo and Mayweather and then turns around and fights Murray?

After his promoter said this about GGG?

Who would give a flying ****, and why are you even asking?" DiBella said. "Who knows Gennady Golovkin other than you, me and a few other people? How many people would he bring to the table? How much money would he generate? He is the last guy ... He is a very good fighter, but it's a fight that economically makes no sense."

You can literally say the SAME exact thing about Murray. Can you not?

And please take the Floyd talk to the countless other threads about the guy lets keep this Floyd free. I know for some posters its hard but try.

Such a foreign concept to make GGG vs. Martinez over a Murray fight.

We don't get to see contracts, or know if GGG would have gone to Argentina.

If GGG made Martinez good money at this point, the fight would be made.

Martinez is definitely #1, but I wouldn't say Golovkin is #2.

This guy walks on water on this site. Im not buying it this is a duck move.
As a floydiot, you should be able to spot ducking better than most.

Naw man I cant buy that. The fight didn't have to be in Argentina. He sure as hell wasnt fighting the guys he called out (Cotto, Canelo, Floyd) in Argentina. They didnt even attempt to negotiate a deal with him. We have what DiBella said about on him record and why they didnt want the fight.

But when you turn around and fight Martin Murray people are going to call BS.

Are you 10? Not only did you just use the word "Floydiot" but you also have it in your sig.

                      Good riddance.
