Also germs, just think about what happend when humans from europe met with humans in the americas for the first time. Think about the consequences of contact with a being from another plantet. Our sterilizer could drop them on contact, or their sweat could cause the plague to us.

If they make contact with us they want something. Im not willing to gamble with the fate of our species to see if they are just as curious as us about each other. Plus the unintended consequences of a friendly alien species could doom us all.

I would rather not make contact as much as I am curious, and I'm very intrigued by the thought.

I agree with the first part of this. About making contact I don't think we will. We just live so so far away from the nearest solar system and even if we develop an engine capable of traveling at the speed of light, it would take decades to reach them. I think that kind of speed is a long long ways out of our reach, however we are an ingenius species so who knows.

About making contact, I think it would be totally cool. However its a real chance it would be the extinction of our species. Alien life could be totally pacificist and not capable to harm, or it could be something we define as totally evil. Also out atmosphere could be toxic to them, our gravity could be too strong, or too weal. Our climate could be too hot or too cold. The chances of an alien stepping on our soil or vice versa could prevent contact.

Plus our intelligence has to be pretty close to each others for communication. I mean if they are either so far ahead of us or so far behind us then comprehension would not be possible.

UFO Researcher David Sereda discussed his recent work, videotaping the disclosure of 73-year old Boyd Bushman, a Lockheed Martin Senior Research Scientist of 20 years, who held Top Secret clearance. He holds a number of patents and designed the Red Eye Missile (now the Stinger Missile), and infrared FLIR systems. Bushman also reverse engineered antigravity and UFO technology, Sereda reported.

There is a force related to the expansion of the universe that is actually stronger than gravity, and this could relate to antigravity propulsion, Bushman told him. He demonstrated phases that lead up to antigravity, including experiments in which magnets reduced the gravity of a rock. Bushman verified that Area 51 in Nevada was indeed the place where alien craft were tested-- but such testing moved to a facility in Utah after Area 51 became well known, he noted.

Bushman also revealed that he was friends with a Navy doctor that treated a pilot who shot down the Roswell craft in 1947. Though he didn't state the specific type of weapon used, Sereda speculated that it might have been Tesla's "death ray," confiscated by the government after Tesla's death in 1943. Bushman also showed Sereda a diagram for a nuclear-powered flying saucer (click on photo above), which he said was first flown out of Wright Patterson AFB in 1959.

I don't think thats true. The possibility of us being capable of communication with an alien species would be incredible. Why would aliens share their technology with us? Their worlds are probably made up of different elements than ours so the materials probably wouldn't be at our fingertips. If they have technology superior to our, they arent stupid. Theres a good chance that what we developed over 600 years took them millions. Basically they could have technoloy that far surpasses our own but we could have the ingenuity to advance it much further. For this reason I don't think they would be interested in sharing technology with us, especially if they know our history.

I have the exact same thoughts and feelings on this matter as you do bro, I find it trually fascinating but the more research I do the more I find it very hard to not take the guy serious (which is difficult to understand) I know....
