After the latest nonsense about the lockout, a lot of casual fans have lost interest in the NBA and don't care about tuning in, because they don't care who wins or losses. Just a game between a bunch of rich guys who are all friends.

But Kobe going on a 40 point streak brought me back for another look. I would think it did others as well, which is good for NBA business. It's the Basketball's version of fans in Boxing looking for a exciting, aggressive fighter and a action-packed Fight.

I approve of Kobe's ball hogging ways if he can keep scoring 40's. Anything beneath that is your Boxing boring, low action fight.
