  • New Vinny Pazienza Movie Coming This Fall

So, I heard there's a new Vinny Pazienza movie coming out this fall, in November. With Hands of Stone coming out in August as well, could be a decent year for boxing movies. Anyone plan on seeing these?

Can't wait for the Paz movie. Vinny and I are from the same neighborhood and Ive trained with him on a few occasions at RI boxing. Incredibly cool guy, nothing like what you saw or heard from him.

I have read so much about Duran It will really be interesting to see if the movie is accurate. I am not sure why Frankie Carbo is a character in the main cast as I do not think he is relevant to Duran's career only having involvement with possibly Arcel. I recall at one time there was a davey moore character but that is not included in your list of characters.

Vinnie Paz might be an interesting story. I am sure they will avoid certain subjects tho.

I watch every boxing movie, even the ****ty ones so I'll definitely check this out. The Pazienza story should be good. Him cruising around with that halo & fighting again was nuts.

Vinny Paz truly is the SWEETEST/Greatest person! Yeah, no signs of "tough" the times I know him. Poster here ^ ^ you know Tommy Galipeau too! Chick & Tiny's fighter? I was his pro debut (gave him "O.K!") -sm fight- YOU KNOW he got up to #4 Wbo! & #27 lh Wbc.

Not sure what you're talking about. Tiny was a second for Vinny, not his main trainer. As far as Chic, he was more a part of Coventry boxing. I knew both, as well as Chuckie Sullivan and Frank Houlihan. Knew Tommy well enough From his Woonsocket days with Jay and Mike Burke, spared with him many times...as far as I know he never got farther the #5 by the USBA or one of the other continental orgs.

Damn, Ted Levine? And I almost didn't recognize Aaron Eckhart in that trailer. Looks pretty good, like it'll be even better than the Micky Ward movie.
