    Nothing lucky about the punch.

Had eyes on his opponent, was judging distance with his left hand, shoots a rocket right hand, avoids a sweeping left by Szpilka.

Thank you and good night, Irene.
Both guys threw, Wilder was faster.

But he really is shit, how can you guys not see that, he's one dimensional, all he has is his right hand!

You really think this will work against top heavies?

I'll make as big as a bet as you're comfortable with when Povetkin and Wilder square up.

It can work, eventually something bad will happen he is not a guy who is going to be perfect.

He has a pretty good jab also.

To even get to this point wilder's career has been a success because very few thought he would even get to this point, a stiff breeze would blow him over or that he would fold at the first sign of trouble because his legs are too skinny.

He has positive attributes and fights to them, that right there makes him difficult to fight and while he does have real flaws that can always cost him his strengths partly covers the flaws making them harder to exploit than most people care to realize.

          • Beautiful KO.

But what happened before is more interesting - When he faces a guy of top quality who will stay focused for 12 rounds?

Wilder was getting outboxed in this fight and no disrespect to Szpilka, but he's not world class.

Seems like Wilder forgot his jab at home for this fight.

It's on like King Kong fighting Bruce Lee riding a tsunami eating kimchi.

He used it plenty, he wasn't dominating the fight with it but he stuck Spilzka in the face many times.

He definitely needs to tighten some things up. The right uppercut was there for him all night but he seem scared to commit to anything other than the jab and cross.
