Virginia's house of delegates have passed a bill preventing companies from forcing employees from being forced to have microchips implanted.
This sounds like common sense right? I can't think of a more egregious breach of personal liberty than an employer insisting (presumably on pain of termination) on its workers having implanted microchips to keep tabs on them. I absolutely applaud the house of delegates for moving to ban this practise before it becomes an issue.
The trouble is that civil liberties was not exactly what was on the mind of the bill's sponsor:
Wow. So your concern isn't that overbearing employers will use these devices to keep track of their employees. Your concern is that THE DEVIL might use them!
