The biggest enemy to Christianity is common sense.

My search for God has spanned 24 years of thought, experience and trials, failures and triumphs, and it will continue for the entirety of my life.

If that's the conclusion that you want to come up with for your life, and your time, then by all means, believe your own truth. I'm too busy mastering myself to avert my focus for anyone else.

It took me 24 years to reach my understanding of God, myself, life and the universe. I'm not going to give another 24 years explaining myself to somebody else, because that's how long it would take for somebody to understand my point of view.

1,000 years ago it was common sense that the earth was the center of the universe

400 years ago it was common sense that the earth was flat

200 years ago it was common sense that human beings could never fly

Common sense is just that, common. But we live in a world of infinite magnificence. Where "common" is just a concept we allow ourselves to believe when the realities are infinitely deeper. Moreso than common minds can grasp.

edit: BTW, I'm not defending Christianity, I'm not a christian. I'm opposed to all forms of close mindedness and Mainstream Christianity is one.

Nonsense. It was never 'common' for people to believe that.

Humans can't fly. The technology they create, however, can.

I don't get what point you're trying to make. Are you trying to convince me that your entire existence is a lie?

That all of your thoughts and experiences, feelings and memories are meaningless imaginations because they can't be fully diagrammed and mapped by science?

Thank you for your insight on common sense.

Your common sense is very common indeed.

It's a shame people still believe in such archaic ideas. I would love for aliens to be discovered just to mess with their minds.
