If I was an athlete who did a lot for a particular sport I would be flattered, but I would feel it is all unnecessary. I would feel happy with everyone just thanking me for what I did without them having to make it a PR relations stunt or a Public spectacle.

Aikman isn't bad although I wish he would pronounce the word "Him" as Him and not

Pat Summerall and John Madden were the ATG football commentary team. One guy was low key and knowledgeble, the other guy high energy and giving coaching type commentary.
