I have been studying Maidana the past weeks and his power is real I agree.
His speed is actually pretty good, I mean his hands throw when he's close and he will hit something.
He has a lot of success when he is close or people war him. Some of his KO's are TKO's and these guys are kinda bums and actually try to bring it to him. Not a clever idea.
What I have noticed is that he doesn;t mind being patient in the middle. Not a good idea because he will get jabbed the hell out of, and this time, Khan will have success with combo's because Maidana keeps his hands just below his neck when walking forward.
Khan willl find Maidana over 50% connects IMO and his power seems to be growing since he isn;t draining so much and has a better team and is 23 now.
Maidana is prone to getting dropped, Khan can drop him. Especially if Maidana coems out wild, he will get countered and he hans't seen the speed Khan has ever.
His jab and right hand is slow and wild. If Khan can keep the distance and time, feint, then Miadana is in for a long night.
Maidana also squares up quite abit too, giving too much area to hit. VS Kotelnik his ahnds were way too low but he does have ncie shots to the body left and right swings.
He telegraphs his punches coming in, his footwork and speed is slower than his hands, and that's just an opportunity to get hit. His rhythm is also easy to read when he will punch watching him VS Kotelnik which is a fight in the centre of the ring.
This flat footed, lumbering power puncher will get hit a lot more than Paulie, and finally his team will stop it. He's got heart and I can't take that away, but Khan is getting better by each fight.
Khan still leaves his hand out sometimes and has no headmovement which I find rediculous that Roach hasn't taught him yet, but he is another level compared to Maidana. His straight, fast, powerful punches will be the key along with controlling the distance.
Khan could get KTFO any round yes, I agree but he won't.
Khan will break this guy down and stop him. Sig it bitches.
