Hitler was not the Atheist, Stalin/Mao/Pol Pot were.

I read the transcripts of Hitler's speeches, I read Mein Kampf. Dude was a lunatic who believed he was doing God's work.

I'm in favour of secularism. Freedom of/from religion, live and let live. Pick your superstition and enjoy yourself.

Exactly, neither atheism or religion are inherently evil, if you believe in such a thing anyway. The acts that people who associate themselves with these belief structures reflect far more on the individuals than their beliefs or lack thereof.

people often attribute the millions of lives lost during the civil war to lenin but that's neither fair nor realistic. lenin was a product of a very different environment compared to the absolute lunatics on that list.
