Typical fighter does not know when to stop, and considering he was the 160 champ you know he will comeback fighting top comp.

He looked very healthy and Lou Dibella said that all his neurological testing has come back excellent.

A break and some time away from the sport with his family should do him good, but if he wants to return he should be ok.

For you guys who haven't seen it, you will see Jermain looked great and extremely healthy.

He still has a fighting spirit.

He was competitive the whole way through with both Froch and Abraham. Its not like those guys are feather fisted no hopers, those are two hard punching elite SMWs. Taylor isnt done, not quite yet. I dont think he is ever gonna be the top guy again, but he can still be competitive in the top ten, at least for a couple more fights.

                  Big Taylor fan here

He went for a couple of years fighting the toughest stretch of anyone I have ever seen. Pavlik is a huge puncher and was undefeated when he fought Taylor, a few fights later it was Lacy, only had one loss and known as a powerpuncher. Then Froch, undefeated powerpuncher. Then Abraham, undefeated powerpuncher. If any boxer has ever fought that many massive punchers in such a short timespan my hat is off to them. I dont think trying a comeback at 175 is a bad idea, but if he loses one more fight badly he should hang it up for good.

He would get smoked by Dawson, Cloud, or Pascal.

At 168lbs and above, Jermain's chin will not hold up.
