he's in great shape for a 90 year old office worker

for a 90 year old pugilist, who made a reputation for having one of the great chins of all time, he looks like a million bucks

don't pity him. that's what life does to you after 89 years. if i'm alive at 89 i'll be proud.

...........take a look at the Lamotta right uppercut! He has a slight hooking to it instead of bring it into the chest then up to the chin the way your taught to throw it. He hooks it at the end and it goes across the opponents body looking to catch the point of the chin and put a twist on the chin. They taught punches differently back then the most obvious is maintaining the arm at an angle upon contact with a hook or looking to land a right cross before the arm is fully extended, ala Louis! I thought of Dempsey being robbed at 75 yrs old by two punks, when the cops got there one was running down the street the other was at Jacks feet knocked out cold. Lamotta did it his way most of the time and he lived a pretty extreme life too. Love em! Ray.

I watched an interview with him recently and his mind is still very fresh. He has no issues with comprehency or memories.

The guy was a magnificient specimen.Don't make'em like that anymore.
