  • I re-watched Khan vs Peterson: WHAT A ROBBERY !!!!

I re-watched the Khan-Peterson fight now. When I watched it live, I felt that Khan clearly won the fight. Now (after re-watching), I scored it 115:112 for Khan and I had that score AFTER I deducted those ridiculous points. I scored 2 rounds even (10th, 11th) and even if I would have given those rounds to Peterson, I would still have Khan winning by 1 point.
Anybody who comes on a boxing forum and wants to tell me that Peterson deserved to win that fight, doesnt know anything about boxing or he hates Khan so much that he cant give him the rounds he won.
Bottom line is I gave Khan 7 rounds, scored 2 rounds even and gave Peterson 3 rounds. NO WAY DID PETERSON WIN THIS FIGHT.
    Here is my score:

    Round 1: 10-8 Khan
    Round 2: 10-9 Khan
    Round 3: 9-10 Peterson
    Round 4: 10-9 Khan
    Round 5: 10-9 Khan
    Round 6: 10-9 Khan
Round 7: 8-10 Peterson (Point Deduction)
    Round 8: 9-10 Peterson
    Round 9: 10-9 Khan
    Round 10:10-10 Draw
    Round 11:10-10 Draw
Round 12: 9-9 Draw (Point Deduction; Khan won the round)

    Final Score: 115:112 Khan

Without the point deductions, I have Khan winning 117:112

Too many draw rounds on your card.

Draw rounds are a rare occurrence in boxing.

Had Peterson winning round 4 and round 11

    Definite argument for Lamont winning.

Plus the KD in round 1 was BS.

Nah I don't think so. I still had Khan by 1 point with the deductions, I thought he won the fight but by no means was it a clear victory. It was a very close fight.

I had it abit closer than that but still gave it to Khan. I haven't re-watched yet so might actually feel different once I do.

I agree with you the 4th was a LP round but the 11th? That was AK round. Like I said before LP tired and he DID NOT WIN ANY ROUND FROM 9-12!

It was a close fight, hence the SD 1 point split.

A robbery would be 118-109 on all 3 cards.

a robbery is a fight in which the wrong guy gets the decision my friend. We are talking about a world title fight with 2 belts at stake. You cant give a fight to a guy who only wins about 3 rounds.

Depends, if it was a close fight like last night with two point deductions then there is no way it was a robbery. Judges like different things, in close fights things like this happen.

Now that fight on Epix last weekend, that was a robbery...
