Well alot of physicists are unknown to the general public but if you mean that he ought to be about as well known to the genral public as Newton, Einstein, the Curies and Heisenberg then i agree.

Einstein didn`t come up with The General Theory of Relativity. Those in the Jewish media like to say he did though.

Einstein was only a minor contributor to what`s called The Special Theory of Relativity, and E = MC squared wasn`t Einstein`s idea either

He ripped off just about every other good idea he published also. Check out that ``SaintEinstein`` online book. You can`t argue with the author. He just states facts and has sources for all of them. Start at chapter 9. I haven`t read the first eight so I can`t guarantee they`re of good quality.
