Its hard to compare, two very different resumes. Wlad is missing those great names, A class fighters on his. He doesn't have a single fighter who is going to get into the the HOF, that hurts. Based on that his resume can't be held above Joe's, although H2H I think Wlad takes it by KO. I don't hold Wlad's losses against him too much, they do count against him, but the way he has rebuilt and comeback is more impressive than the negative of the losses.

I hope Wlad gets his chance to prove himself against at least one very good heavyweight. He really needs one of the current crop - Joshua, Fury, Wilder to come to the fore and maybe then Wlad will get a chance to cement his legacy.

Seriously, Pulev? That guy got a **** ton of hype over nothing.

Wlad is an extremely limited fighter. He clinches excessively because he can't fight off of the backfoot or pivot out of range. All he can do is stand his ground but even then he has no ability whatsoever to fight on the inside because he can't shorten up his punches and his uppercut is nonexistent.

We also know that he has a terrible chin and poor cardio.

He wouldn't stand a chance against the constant relentless but skillful pressure of a Joe Frazier. Hell, him and Emanuel Steward were terrified of a poor mans Frazier in Derek Chisora.

Anybody can look great fighting bums like Pianeta, Mormeck, Pulev, Leapai, Wach etc. It's this level of opponent that makes up most of Klitschko's title run and most of his career for that matter.

Before his true reign? You've got to be joking...

He was 30 years old. He'd had 45 professional fights over a decade. Among those 45 fights and ten years as a pro, he'd spent four of them as a champion with nearly ten championship fights against guys like Sanders, Mercer, Byrd, McCline, Brewster...That's as good as his opposition today, if not better.

            Anyway, it's simple.

Frazier's best win is Ali. The greatest heavyweight of all time.

Wlad's is...I actually don't know...Haye? Maybe a top 75 heavyweight of all time? Top 50 if you're generous, and deluded? Who cares.

Frazier beat better fighters. He also never lost to anything less than legendary HOF, top ten HW greats.

Wlad hasn't beaten any great fighter. He's lost to fighters that are from decent contender level to literal club level nobodies.

So, to sum up; Wlad hasn't beaten better fighters and has lost to significantly worse opposition. Frazier has beaten better fighters, ATG HOFers at that, and only lost to Frazier and Ali, the best opposition the division has ever seen really.

The only thing Wlad has is length of reign. However, quality always trumps longevity, particularly when the quality is so incredibly far apart and is an actual reason for the longevity. After all, it's not hard to stay on top when you're sitting on a massive pile of steaming fat ******s.

When was the last time Wlad ever won a clean, foul free exciting fight against a quality opponent?

pulev would have coasted through a bunch of 185 lb dayjob competition in the '70s and embarrassed guys like mathis and quarry though. Maybe you consider him a bum today but he wouldn't be back then.

Overall Wlad has the better Resume than Frazier.Had Frazier fought more top guys/known punchers instead of avoiding them you can make a case but Wlad has fought and beat everyone ,the only guy left and up and coming is wilder, who he has already dropped in sparring before.
Well which power puncher did he avoid? The only one I can think of is earnie shavers. And yeah that does work both way, but with smaller gloves the game itself changes. The striking is different and you can't deflect shots of you gloves. seeing as wlad has a terrible chin, it would spell real danger for him. The reason why fighters like Mathis wearnt as successful back in the day was because of there size, it was just a different game and it was more about getting your punches in the as fast as you possibly can.

he just did that against pulev. he completely beat him up and stopped him. no controversy whatsoever. unless you want to nit pick.

people obsess over wlad and hate on him. but truth is wlad keeps winning and so people are going to hate on him. get a clue and stop the unnecessary hate.

If Wlad foughtrime Foreman twice he'd have been Ko'd as well.

Frazier, easily. Achievement wise and head to head.
