Master boxer like Pernell Whitaker I'm interested in seeing how Broner will do against a slick boxer like Vazquez GBP needs to forget about Burns for now and focus on making Vazquez Broner happen February 16

This fight should happen and I would actually enjoy see these two battle it out

I still favor Broner but probably it will be the most dificult fight for him.

Get off of Vazquez bandwagon PLEASE...most of you did not give a **** about Vazquez before the Gesta fight and most would be b1tching about his style if it was any other fighter, you would be calling him "BORING" and a "RUNNER"

Regardless I would love to see Broner vs Vazquez...but I don't think HBO will take it the way they was mocking the guy style during the Gesta fight , they was criticizing Vazquez more then they was Gesta (who wasn't doing anything) so it would probably be a Showtime fight but I don't care, I would love to see it!

Yeah didn't think Vazquez was a Top Rank Fighters like some was suggesting so making that fight wouldn't be a problem, only problem will probably be to get HBO to accept it

Look at what Quintero did to Broner with his style, Títere would take all 12 rounds for himself like he likes to do.

Ps.- But that would be in other country, Broner is a very protected american inversion and will continue to get gift decisions for the time being.

i think more people are backing vazquez against broner because of their dislike for broner...i'm a fan of both, but man would i like to see vazquez take it. very difficult fight, and i def agree with you on it being unlikely to happen. broner calls himself 'mr. hbo' so i don't think he'll be going to showtime anytime soon. hbo would probably prefer showing broner against other fighters. they'll probably stay away from vazquez tbh.

Broner hasn't really beaten anyone with his size, just his skills.
He hits much harder than the guys he is facing and he didn't really have anything to fear from them. DeMarco tagged him flush several times and left a mark under his right eye. A bigger, stronger guy would have made him think twice about attacking in certain situations.

I could not imagine the guy sitting there inching in against Matthysee for instance as Lucas is dropping bombs on him. His entire style would have to change to incorporate more movement. Against a guy like Khan would be throwing 4 punch combinations at will, maybe not landing too many but that stuff scores in the eyes of the judges, especially if all you are doing is blocking.

Same thing with Nonito....he is getting to the point where he should think very carefully about how far up he is willing to move in weight. These guys are physically bigger than the guys in their weight divisions.

I really don't see how Donaire was making the weights he was making fighting under 120 pounds and such. Sure they are skilled but they haven't taken punches from bigger guys before.

Broner is on the verge of entering a division where there are some very hard punching guys, guys that can KO you with one punch. I know that can happen at any level but these guys are dropping 140 and 147 pound guys.

Nonito is much more mobile than Broner is though so I think he would fare better at the higher weights.

Broner will KO Vasquez, he should be careful what he's asking for with his measily KO ratio I don't know how he is supposed to pressure and hurt Broner. He's another Eloy waiting to happen.

Just watched one of his fights and the guy isn't that good as you guys are making him out to be. He's slow, and doesn't have much pop.
I think Broner will be too fast and too strong for him. Broner wins by KO inside of 9 rounds.
