its more of a future 'insurance' kinda deal...with Theo's injury and LO's mins piling up, it adds another big man to the rotation that, realistically, can play the 3,4 and maybe the 5 spot...we had a glut of shooting guards with Brown and Barnes and not only does this bolster their PT, the $8mil that we saved can also be used to resign those guys to extensions...and here's one of the main reasons why i really like this trade: it gives us a $5.4mil trade exception that we can use if we need to pick up a player before the deadline
