I thought Pitt's acting in the final sequence was good.

The early days Pitt was a dope actor - Kalifornia, 12 Monkeys, Se7en. Great films, great acting.

Great movie and Pitt's acting is completely solid throughout. His character is somewhat childish and emotional, thus Pitt's acting appears that way.

His character is 34 years old and a detective, and he plays him like a 21 year old whiny rookie that just came out of the academy.

The performance is amateurish and embarrassing to watch. You can tell he's acting. Fail.

You can also tell he's trying too hard. Double fail.
