This is probably only the second sparring footage I seen of Cotto and from the way he is fighting I am guessing this is in preparation for Margarito I. It is indeed very rare.

I remember this. I think it's possibly before the Mosley fight, but can't say for sure. I think there may also be a video from around this time with him sparring Randall Bailey.

I also recall a video with Cotto sparring one of the Dirrell brothers in Puerto Rico, but that one was a bit older.

damn so much confidence, not bouncing as much, crisp jab and left hook even when going to the ropes, now when he goes to the ropes he just runs and takes punches and is uncomfortable what completely different fighter that he is today.
