Yeah so? Maybe Tyson had less skills than Oscar De La Hoya. So what?

You know exactly what would have happened had Mike Tyson met Oscar in the ring.

We are talking about heavyweight. Not about some fantasy "skillweight".

Shavers would be called a featherfist nowadays:

Kenny Norton's record isn't too good either (except for the Ali win, which says more about Ali than about Norton). Norton was easily KOed. Norton wouldn't even be known nowadays.

No, Foreman of the 1970s would be SUB-AVERAGE today.

George Foreman (average fighting weight 217 in the 1970s) would be Vitali Klitschko's bottom-3 LIGHTEST opponent.

Those boxing fans who think that Joe Louis...

...would have a chance against Klitschko's opponents (let alone Klitschkos themselves) need some serious reality adjustment.

        Remember Mormeck vs Klitschko?

        That small guy (Mormeck)
        * was heavier than Sonny Liston (against Ali)
        * was far more accomplished than Liston
        * had a far better resume than Liston

Yet Wlad-Mormeck was merely seen as a stay-busy fight. That's how much the division changed.

If the Eastern Europeans are so good then why aren't there any in the top 5 P4P?

            You can't be serious.

Wlad's jab is ****, and that's being generous...

Lol. If you mean the best pawing and useless jab ever then I'm inclined to agree.

If you want to see an ATG HW jab then go look at some Larry Holmes film.

Holmes' jab >>> Wlad's lackluster jab

Wlad's jab > Holmes' right hook.

We are in a HW thread.

P4P has been invented to make non-heavies feel good about themselves. P4P wise Floyd Mayweather beats Mike Tyson.
Argueing with "P4P" in a superheavyweight thread makes no sense.

                      Gotta love Klittard "logic".

                      Lol.

Holmes is an ORTHODOX fighter and doesn't throw right hooks, Genius.

                      Holmes >>> Klitschko
