Free Healthcare isnt socialism, its just a basic human right that everyone deserves the right to get treatment if they are ill/injured. If you get free healthcare you're not suddenly gonna be walking around in red chanting commie slogans. its understandable that poor countries may not be able to give its citizens free healthcare, but any developed nation should provide basic healthcare to its citizens as a basic right!

Do I support socialism? Not really, I support some social policies, but that's about it. As for you thinking that socialism doesn't work, well about the Scandinavian countries like Denmark, Sweden, and Norway? There the happiest people in the world. Socialism works as long as it's open and flexible like the Scandinavian countries. America's social polices is not real socialism, it's more like fascism that hurts the middle class. Socialism in my definition is suppose to be about income distribution and helping out those that are in need. We have no real social policies other than our education system.

I do like universal health care though, but with a twist, something more different and effective than Canada and Europe. As long as health care is affordable whether be private or not, I'm fine with it. As of right now our health care system is disastrous so I don't see whats wrong with universal health care.

I'm assuming your rich enough to send your kids to private school then. So you think if poor kids had no schools and worked in factories, that would be better for the society that your rich kids will grow up to live in?

It's a damn shame that a hospital is run as a business. A bvusiness has vested interests and would do anything to make money. A conflict of interest between profit and care which is unethical and against the hypocratic oath. that bit in sicko about doc's getting bonuses for turning down treatment is quite disturbing. over here they get bonuses for keeping people healthy. Them ER docs salaries will probably be affected my $orientated management telling them to keep costs down on uninsured patients.

I aint rich baby, but I do send my kids to private school. Because the public schools suck. Plus the actual cost is higher per student in public schools. Taxes just pay the difference. So I actually pay for my own kids to go to private school and help pay for other kids to go to school through taxes. I deserve a freaking medal don't you think.
Doctors are doctors to make money, do they do it at all cost? No they don't. You can have a code of ethics, be fair and still make money. Somebody has to make all this evil money to pay for the entitlements you people think are owed to you.
