pacquiao had nothing to his name. started pro boxing in his mid teens, had to lie about his age to be able to fight. had to use weights hidden down his shorts to make weight and fight bigger opponents, fought just to earn $1 every fight, fought 3-4 times in 1 month to support his family, had no father figure or reliable trainer to guide him at the start, when he's not in the gym, he would work as a construction worker or as a laborer to be able to buy something to eat

That video is funny but a bit old.

But yes Pacquiaos lifestory is amazing. He is truly a legend. Nobody in his family were boxers, there was no one to help him, just himself. He started as a starving beggar kid and literally made his way to the top of the world step by step, giving more blood than any of us could imagine, fighting grown men at the age of 14 with no one to watch out for him. Countless other kids have tried to that but failed or even died (yes lots of young boxers died in the phillipines at the time), but Manny had the fire and determination seen once in a century.

Mayweather on the other hand had a family full of boxers to help him. Floyd talks about hardwork and determination but his concept of hardwork is a joke compared to what Pacquiao had to go through as a young kid. Canelo also had boxer brothers to help him. Manny had NOTHING, he was also malnourished for many years, hence why he didn't reach his full potential till age 30.

Floyd on the other hand had a family and a team to hold him step by step like a baby all the way, giving him the right opponents at the right time. Pacquiao is the one who fought EVERYONE coming up, so it always makes me laugh when Floyd says he came up the hard way, when he has no idea how hard it is for kids in 3rd world countries without connections. If Floyd went up the hard way like PAC did he would have more than a few losses.

Pacquiaos life story is legendary, who knows how great Pacquiao would be today if he had the right training, nutrition, and management from the very beginning. On the other hand put floyd in Pacquiaos position growing up and floyd would have been crushed by the poverty and adversity. Floyd says he grew up in poverty, lmfao he doesn't even know what poverty is. PAC had one bowl of rice a day as a young boxer and he still choose to share half of it with Buboy everyday. Floyd wouldn't even eat bread or drink tap water in jail lol.

It always boogles my mind how some guys can respect floyd more than PAC.
