Then move up to 160 and fight Martinez in the fall( if he gets past Chavez) for the linear 160 title,retire 45-0 and as a 10 time champion in 6 divisions and a 5 time lineal champ..that would be HUGE!!!!

Beating Canelo would also get him the Ring title

its two weeks from a year since he won it and he went to jail. To reasons he should have lost his belt. I think either way, we'll see Cotto-Alvarez in December or May/June, which is fine by me. Cotto is still good, still a top fighter around his weight.

But if Floyd beats Alvarez before Alvarez fights/beats Cotto, it's a solid/decent win, nothing more.

Floyd should honestly focus on Pacquiao in March-May 2013, than go for Alvarez and Martinez in Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. Then, call it a career, unless he feels he still has another fight or two left at that point against someone who seperates themselves from the rest.

fighting Manny now is nothing but a money fight..it is not a great win at all..beating Canelo now means more than beating Manny now imo...........
