Yeah definitely the middleweight guy gave Vitali his toughest fight. That was funny, Vitali thought he was 100% safe fighting another guy mismatched waaaay too small for him, but he forgot that Byrd was not just a MW/LH, but a very good MW/LH.
Vitali sure learned his lesson there and went back to facing LHs and cruisers pronto. If you arent all that good then dont face someone good, however small he is.
I think Vitali was beating Byrd by something like 6 rounds before retiring with an injury. Chisora gave Vitali some problem but Vitali was already 40 by that time. Sanders and Lewis gave Lewis the toughest fights. Arreola made Vitali uncomfortable the entire fight but didn't land many punches.
The other guy who beat him? People act like Bird just took a beating ,the reason Vitali messed his shoulder up is because of all the shots he was missing, sure he was up on the cards but it was far from an easy fight and the round before he quit he took a beating.
Vitali was up 8 rounds to 1. The fight wasn't at all close
if PED infested quitali was up 8-1 with only 3 rounds left then WHY would he quit??? There were only 3 rounds left ... he could've coasted and gotten the victory ... but it was clear he thought it was a close fight to that point and didn't want to risk further injury
quitali was exposed as a fraud that night and exposed even worst when Lewis nearly took the vision out of one of his eyes
Quitali is a fraud with ZERO heart and a complete front runner ... he collapses worst than Wlad when he faces adversity ... he nearly lost to old Corrie Sanders and was saved by the bell
