dude who was shot wtih his family in his car was a supervisor of the food service in the cafeteria of a local school. had a license to carry, which you can't get if you're a criminal, or not willing to go through the 20 hours of classes. those classes include the exact procedures that you're supposed to go through if you're stopped. usually cops respect the concealed carry permit. they've all got one by default, just by being a cop. one of my best friends growing up is a cop, and he carries his gun basically everywhere it's allowed.


if it's going to take a doctor or a laywer being shot before we start to wake up and see that this is a problem, we are f#cking screwed

cops have criminalized blackness. if you're black, they're more jumpy. they've done the same thing with poor people, teenagers / young men. in the past theyt've done it with italians, asians, jews, disenfranchised and poor groups. you're more likely to get shot by the cops without justification if you're black.



we need to look at each case separately, but the trends are clear. blackness can contribute to your being shot or killed by cops without justification.

blacks have criminalised blackness by committing so much damn crime.

I think its going to take black cops to start killing white men and getting off for things to change. It will be the same as the court system following the OJ Simpson verdict.

when white people experience the system the same way black people do they tend to get outraged and change things.
