So he went in there anyways rather than giving up the title without getting paid. Even if he wasn't sick he probably wouldn't of shown up in the best shape... Briggs even though he is older now actually trains hard, probably one of the hardest training heavyweights of today he's in shape all year round now.
    Yeah, he's juicing, errrr, training very hard these days.

    As for excuses, he's either overweight, asthmatic, fighting injured, blah blah blah every time he loses.

    That said, Haye promised him a fight, so he'd better follow through or look like a coward.

        So what is going on here? Briggs, who at 42 looks more muscular than he was in his fighting prime, might just be ’roid raging. It’s becoming more and more the norm for boxers over the age of 38 to be in the best shape of their lives.

          David Haye is trying to work and Briggs is chasing him down yelling LETS GO CHAMP!! Imagine if he came to McDonalds and started yelling LETS GO CHAMP while you were trying to make some french fries

            Juicing or not it's quite obvious he's training hard nowadays. All those pics mean is that Briggs is one tough mofo for lasting 12 rounds with a torn bicep against Klitschko.... He's quite obviously tough as nails and I'm sure Haye doesn't like the idea of a high risk low reward fight with Briggs, especially considering Briggs' toughness.
