If Vitali picked up a homeless person and gave him a 6 figure contract itd be the same statement.

Haye and Valuev are not homeless. They are legitimate stars in their own right, who draw huge crowds. To hand over 100% of the German gates to the sisters with 3 rematch clauses is modern day slavery.

I've never understood why anyone would cry about a rematch clause with the Klitschkos.

If you beat them there really isn't any other fight out there where you can make even 25% as much money.

What kind of fighter *****es and moans about being contractually guaranteed a 2nd payday that makes him more money than the 1st fight?? which by the way was by far the most he had ever made up to that point?

Have you seen the contract? How do you know that they would make more money in the 2nd fight?

Haye went way passed the line with the Klits, to chicken out and hide like a little beatch. I lost respect for him after all those beheading Ts, all the talk, then He gets his fight and like a coward walked away.
He talk the talk, but can't walk the walk.

It's called common sense. No surprise that you don't have enough to figure it out for yourself.

Though you might actually be dumb enough to believe that Haye's split would be lowered from 50/50 to 40/60 on the grounds that he won and held all the belts.

Plus it's also common sense that if Haye pulled the upset there is no other logical fight than to rematch a Klitschko or fight the other brother in a fight that would unify all 4 belts.....

Oh but a heavyweight title bout with all 4 belts plus the RING and IBO titles on the line might not make more money for Haye.... right.... keep the idiotic posts coming.

Haye throws around the word slavery a lot. Anyone can look it up, and I don't see here anything about making millions of dollars.

Slavery is a system in which people are the property of others. Slaves can be held against their will from the time of their capture, purchase or birth, and deprived of the right to leave, to refuse to work, or to demand wages. In some societies it was legal for an owner to kill a slave. In others it was a crime to kill a slave.[1]

So you don't know you're just guessing, doesn't have to be lowered now does it? It's common sense that a rematch would sell less than the first and the split would be the same, so Haye would actually make less money.

No surprise that you don't have enough "common sense" to figure it out for yourself.

OMG The Klitschko's who have the belts and have created their monopolistic hold over the division want to be rewarded for their achievements. They arent throwing belts in the trash, they arent ducking anyone, they are doing what they should...get paid as much as possible. Should they be like, "Hey Shannon, you got paid 100k for your last fight, how about 5 million to fight me." no, they will make it your best pay day, they will pay you what is fair based on what you bring. Maybe one day when Unicef or the United Way gets into boxing promoting there will be a "more fair" way. But as of right now, the Klitschkos have been managed the best out of any fighter ive seen. Do you think Don King would be better with th contracts?

IF, Haye beat a brother, IF. The rematch would sell far better. If anyone beats vitali or wlad, the rematch with the other brother will be one of the biggest fights of the year by far. The grudge match would be huge, especially if its a guy lke Haye or Adamek. I dont think either can beat either brother, but if they did, any more fights with the brother would be huge sellers.
