Essentially the big deal in Judea in Roman times is that a Messiah would arrive and bring about the end-times. Jesus popped up around then along with a number of "Messiah" characters (such as Appollonius of Tyana) and the end times didn't happen. The end of every century since the book of revelations was added to the bible has had speculation and predictions of the apocalypse and hey, we're still waiting.
Ok. I need to check that out again.

I watched a lecture on that **** a couple of days ago, could be possible that I misunderstood what was being said.
    But I doubt it.

Occultism is older than 600 years.
It excist as far back as the ancient egypt and probably even further than that.

    But isn't Jesus New Testament?

I'm kind of confused about that after you had a discussion with someone about the rules of the old testament/jesus etc.

    • Jesus is New Testament and was thought by some to be the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Old Testament which would mean the end of the world.

And occultism is as old as agriculture. But Tarot is a relatively new invention.

Aight. I'll get my facts straight

I like to make people think, which is why I say outrageous stuff at times.
        Thinking is underrated.

Could they "predict" their long-term goal for some reason?

          or

Did those guys who wrote the bible actually see the future?

I'll go with the first any day of the week.

...that would be fine and dandy IF...that were the only piece of evidence...but there is a TON more in favor of Christianity...someone would love to bury that fact...not you, but someone else...

The only trouble is that the TON of evidence requires you to have blind faith in Christianity before you can accept it. Making it meaningless.

Again posting other peoples oppinions and views is worthless. You can find the same people talking about been abducted by aliens and having rods shoved up their rear ends. A bunch of deluded recluses each giving their own so called "divine" experiences is not a valid argument, just one fantasist appealing to other fantasists.
