Almost 3 million for this card....that's why we gotta pay for fking fights like Crawford-Postal on PPV....
2 mill to fight a bum is a joke but he's a star and the face of HBO with Canelo so I guess they gotta pay the guy...and good for Wade, that's more than he will probably ever make in a fight again.

but if nothing else, its great ammo for the GGG hate squad. "oh look, GGG dried out a guy who never fought at 160 before blah blah blah" lolLast edited by OnePunch; 04-22-2016, 04:40 PM.

Why is Golovkin getting so much flak? Ward got the same $2m for Paul Smith. Charles prince bum Martin got more than that and that man was awful.
And stop comparing Wade to Monroe. All other Golovkins opponents got a lot more than Monroe. That guy really thought it would explode his popularity so he took an insanely low payday.

Golovkin making as much to fight Wade as he did Lemieux. I would've thought Wade was making more than this given he easily crossed the line to fight on HBO. Hopefully this means it'll be easier to get more Haymon fighters on HBO.
