that rumor started when after seals killed bin laden, months later seals died when their chopper got shot down.

the media referred to both as "seal team six". so ppl started saying the guys who killed bin laden got killed.

ppl got confused by the name.

they thought SEAL TEAM 6 meant it was the same unit.

SEAL TEAM 6 was disbanded in the 80's. there is no seal team 6.

it's a nickname for the the seals who followed seal team 6, which comprises MULTIPLE units/squadrons.

the squadron who did the OBL mission wasn't the same squadron who got killed in afghanistan.

but the conspiracy theorists jumped on it and tried to make it part of their 9/11 conspiracy theories.

I was on my way to work and had the news on in the background. I heard that a plane hit the first tower, and immediately thought it was some idiot pilot who just fuked up.

When the second one hit, I felt this weird feeling in my stomach and knew something was wrong.

I was drinking with a doctor friend on his building's roof top. He left to get some fingerfood downstairs but hurriedly cameback to the rooftop without the food and was shouting "binanga ng eroplano ang world trade center!!!" He put on the tv just in time the 2nd airplane hit the othe wing. It was around 9-10 in the evening which was around 9-10 am in NY.
