New Study On ****sexual Parents Tops All Previous Research

    http://www.frc.org/issuebrief/new-st...vious-research

Compared with children raised by their married biological parents (IBF), children of ****sexual parents (LM and GF):

Are much more likely to have received welfare (IBF 17%; LM 69%; GF 57%)

    Have lower educational attainment

Report less safety and security in their family of origin

Report more ongoing "negative impact" from their family of origin

Are more likely to suffer from depression

    Have been arrested more often

If they are female, have had more sexual partners--both male and female

This came from the Family Research Council and can't be trusted. They are notoriously anti gay.

If gay people want to get married that is fine. Why other people care is sad.

lol @ using agenda driven FRC as a basis for your argument. Their primary reference, a study by Mark Regenerus, has already been pretty rigorously dissected and it's conclusions discredited. Using his own data, other scientists were not able to reach the same conclusion as him.
        https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.06554f891a90

In short, his conclusions are basically just the result of measurement errors, as reviewed here:
        http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...49089X1500085X

The scientific consensus has for years been that it does not make a measurable difference whether children are raised by straight or gay parents. http://www.apa.org/news/press/response/gay-parents.aspx

Getting married is fine. If you want to marry a man Big Dunn, that's your own business. Different strokes for different folks. You're not hurting anyone.

But it should not state-sanctioned. Adopting children is not okay for gay couples, for the sake of the poor children.

Freedom always supports his bigoted views with "science"....of course he picks the overwhelming minority of "scientists", because it suits his POV. Just admit you're a bigoted idiot and that luckily for you, most people are just as moronic as you are, so progress will have to fight all those who think like you.

The only reason its state sanctioned is so the spouse can get the same things any heterosexual spouse would get upon death.

There is no danger to children being adopted by gay couples. I think rather than living in an agency a child is much better off living with parents that love them.

i voted yes, but in all honesty. The Federal government has a job to do and if the federal government sees a state not supporting equal rights for all people then they need to step in.

So i guess i should have voted no.

Don't forget the benefits they get when alive - married couples file taxes jointly and pay less than they would have if they had filed separately.
