I thought the same thing. With that cut if Khan had followed his MO of hit and run there is a good chance the fight would have been stopped after a few rounds. But he got goaded into a fight and bit off more than he could chew. Angel Garcia is smart without his input the fight would have had a totally different look.

Most definitely sold the fight and got people really tunning in, plus Danny's performance -dang, It worked out beautifuly. It takes balls to play the bad guy and it pays off big if you succeed.

The difference being Paulie clinched when Khan threw and Garcia gunned for counters when Khan threw.

Paulie even caught him with a couple of clean counter left hooks similar to the one Garcia landed except he did not/could not hurt him. Garcia could and did.

Khan didn't go looking for the KO at any point in that fight. He was actually fighting very cautiously until he got hurt. Then he started to brawl because that's Khan's natural instinct when he's hurt.
