Um the South used to be Democratic strongholds for years and years. Democrats lost the south when they started moving more and more to the left.

The Dems lost the south when the Civil Rights act was pushed forward by Johnson.

Im happy that Colorado voted for Obama. We had voted Republican I think they said like 40 yrs in a row. Makes sense though we've had a wave of move ins mostly from California and plus the Latino population has grown.
