This evening's main event sees fast-rising star Billy Joe Saunders defend his British and Commonwealth Middleweight titles against Matthew Hall in an exciting showdown of boxer versus puncher. Saunders with a strong start in the second, connecting a solid left on Hall's cheek. Hall retaliates with some body shots, but doen't affect Saunders. Saunders with a flurry of shots looks to put Hall at risk but he continues to battle on. Saunders draws blood from Hall's nose, but Hall seems unscathed and connects with a couple of well-aimed body shots. Hall gets pounded with a slick combination by Saunders and loses his gumshield in the process. Hall is fierce and catches Saunders with a few at the end of the 6th.
