    Would it even be fair???

    no, it wouldn't

you'd have to give them Khan's chin to give other fighters a shot

Seriously, it'd be impossible they'd lose.

        Not even close to fair.

Thankfully, they wouldn't be as skilled with one punch power. They'd have neglected areas that are strengths because they could end the fight with a punch.

Lol...But to be fair do you think they would become more dependent on their power at the expense of their ring smarts and defensive skills?

Imagine how fast a Mayweather fight would end.. or fighting Whitaker to have him only land a 3 punch combination in the last 20 seconds of the round only to have your tenacity sink and your body gives out after you had just missed your last 50 punches in the round.

There is no such thing as perfection~

If those guys had power like that they would have likely not put in as much work in the gym thus not honing their skills to such a fine point. If you can erase a guy so easy why put in all that extra work.

Human nature kicks in at some point, no matter how much drive to get better you have.

What if maidana had great defense he'd be a monster.

Their styles CONTRIBUTE to their modest power. Having knockout power more than anything natural to a fighter requires commitment to punches. These guys are masters of defense and hitting and not getting hit. That requires evasiveness. Evasiveness oftentimes comes at the expense of power because you rarely fully commit to punches because you might already be in the act of evading the split second your punch is thrown.

Consistently knocking guys out and fighting like Mayweather/Ward/Whitaker don't really go together.
