Fedor will shatter Overeem's glass chin.

That's what a lot of people forget about Overeem; his PRIDE days. That thing's already been shattered. He got his head blown off by Chuck, and Shogun made him roll over and quit. That's not something you can train out of you. That's something you do when the heat is turned up, Gonzaga does the same thing. Fedor is one of the most aggressive fighters in MMA. One of those shots he throws lands, and Overeem will quit again.

Thats something that happens to you when you are having to boil down your CLEARLY huge frame into the physique of a LHW. Overeem should never have been fighting at LHW. If you look at some of his K1 fighting you'll see that his chin is not so suspect at heavyweight. He took a headkick from Badr Hari that would've had most MMA Heavyweights out for the count and Reem was ready to fight on.

When he was draining himself down to 205.

Overeem used to be underrated back when everyone used to say how crap he was.But now he's the most overrated in MMA history. When he was LHW,he got no respect - even when he always fought the top fighters and usually gave a good account of himself. Now he never fights top heavies and yet everyone think's he's great.
The topic had to do with his chin. He's 6'5 and was obviously cutting quite significantly to fight at LHW, which can affect a guy's ability to take damage.

Good shit though by that monster, pretty quick counters for a man his size to.
This happened Friday night (Saturday in Korea). He now qualified for the final 8 in December where he will have to fight 3 fights in one night.

He is 6'5 and walked around 230 and he cut to make 205 which took a lot out of him , he couldn't lift weights or anything, all he did was cardio and weight cutting. He then went from 230 to 250. He is much stronger and has much better punch resistance. People keep crying "steroids, steroids!, how did he go from 205 to 250 that easy?" When in reality he put on 20 pounds of muscle in 3 years. Friday night at the K1 GP he was 242..

It's the year of the reem. (www.thereem.com for his online documentaries)

Why are you talking about Fedor? The guy clearly ducked Overeem, he chose to fight Brett Rogers instead of Overeem(HW CHAMPION). He went life and death with Rogers(who then got ragdolled by Overeem like a tomato can). Fedor lost to Werdum and Werdum was supposed to fight Overeem but he got injured and he's out tilll 2011. Overeem said he would fight Fedor and Fedor refused. When Overeem signed to participate in the K1 tournament, 2 days later fedor calls him out..

As much as I love Fedor, I think Overeem puts him to sleep.

What a shame that you went and ruined a good series of posts there. Completely agree with you about Overeem and his boiling down. But Fedor DIDNT go life and death with Rogers. He knocked him out EARLY into the second round after suffering a broken nose on the first exchange and then regaining control of the first round by the end of the round.
