who was more ferocious: Dempsey Or Tyson?

I have seen a lot of Tyson fights, but not many of Dempseys.
Who is the most ferocious?
edit: in 62 fights Dempsey has 26 1st rd KOs.

You have to be ferocious to bite off an ear or try to break a clinching mans arm. In the fights I have of Dempsey he never pulled anything like that.
