    Larkin can be grim, but he does it for the sake of exposing what he believed society was afraid to face. It's liberating in a way, but I definitely understand how it's not exactly cheerful.

    Depending on the mood and content, there's a bit of everything for everyone in poetry, which is what makes it great.

      You know poems are supposed to make the reader feel something, some kind of overwhelming emotion and truth or connection to something bigger than they are.

      Nobody knows what the **** you're on about.

      Your poems have no structure or depth in any way. It reads like something a 12 year old metrosexual emo would put together in about 2 minutes because he thinks being edgy and artsy is cool, just like putting eye liner and having a female haircut.
