Capitalism cannot retire because it's not a collective system that just picks up and leaves. Of course there are Anti-Free Market forces at play every day, trying to undermine Capitalism and when their inference damages the economy....blame Capitalism instead of blaming Govt.

Hopefully they learn their lesson and return to Capitalism. But who knows.

That's the perfect system for freedom/competition of ideas and voluntary exchange. Different religions competing for your buck by trying to convert you and spend money in their church/temple. Businesses competing for your buck, to try to get you to buy their goods or services. The system that incentivises greed and it's usefulness in society (unlike other systems) as this guy explains perfectly :
