When Hopkins fought Howard Eastman in 2005, lots of tickest were given away, to make it look like a decent crowd.

and this was done with the help of PPV Draws-Morales, and Saul "canelo" Alvarez on the undercard.
If Morales and Canelo Alvarez had not fought on the undercar, the Floyd vs Ortiz PPV event would've sold about 500,000 PPV Buys instead.

Not for nothing but last time Bernard fought in LA he was fighting Howard Eastman and drew over 13,000.

My point is.
It's only fair that blacks are not always the biggest draws, there has to be other boxers drawing fans to the sport. Are blacks suppose to do everything? The biggest draw in boxing is black, the second biggest is Pinoy, the third biggest is up to debate maybe Cotto, who's Puerto Rican. Does it have to be Mayweather, Hopkins, Ward, Dawson, Dirrell the biggest draws in boxing?
I am happy that there's different fighters from different nationalities who draw fans to the sport.
Floyd could barely draw 200,000 PPV buys by himself, without a big name opponent.
DelaHoya holds the record for more PPV buys than anyone in history.
Julio Cesar Chavez holds the record for selling more seats than any fighter in history.
132,274 saw Chavez KO Greg Haugen.

Someone with a boring ass style that only involves running, pot shotting and clinching will never be the biggest draw PERIOD.
Quit spreading lies cuz your embarrassing yourself and the sport.
