Password exchanges between couples

Is giving your (myspace,facebook,msn,etc) password to your girlfriend,wife, whatever the hell she is, a good thing in a relationship or can it damage it??

Should it be safe for a couple to exchange password or should it be kept personal??

Personally, I am way too much of my own person to not have my own outlet. If you trust your loved one you dont need their ****in myspace password.

Me and my GF have long since became one incredibly boring person so she has access to it if she wants and I have access to her's but I never bother......don't know if she does, don't care really.
