Ref could've/should've counted out Algieri. Do you agree?

Ref made the right call as Chris got up and went back in his cage. Had Chris been snooping around outside his cage ref should have stopped it but Chris got and went right in his cage so that's the right call.

Not really quite, but understandable why you'd think that.

All of the knockdowns were basically one punch ones rather than say for instance a flurry like Joshua had earlier. . Actually I'm not sure I think I take that last comment back but Algeri for the most part was always defending himself if you could call it that.

. . . but what is more surprising for me is why Algeri's corner just didn't throw the towel in post 9th round.

you crazy? they had him right where they wanted to. made him keep taking those long ass walks to a neutral corner until he wore himself out, opening the cage and unleashing that patented algieri thunder is the easy part.

agreed. he was still getting up at 9, he should have been stopped. surprised ref let him continue because chris looked finished
