If you believe it's been in his body for years....

When you're cheating you know how long a PED is going to be in the body. So saying it's been there for years is a bit of a stretch. The more likely scenario is he cycled off or got transfusion and it wasn't totally taken out of his blood stream which is why there was only a trace. They probable thought it was too low to be detected. Not Wilder fault however fight should go on with Povetkin having to give up more of his purse to Wilder and say $100K fine by WBC and get the fight back on.

Actually, a rational person would think: "How the ****k did the drug suddenly reappear in a urine test after not appearing in three seperate BLOOD tests!"

You know, the same blood tests that Pacquiao was ducking for years. A rational person would pospone the fight pending an investigation, just like the wbc has done, but only for procedural purposes because really, the writting is already on the wall.

What you are describing are not the thoughts and actions of a 'rational' person, they are those of a 'russian' person.

Said document says nothing about testing clean three times and only THEN, on the fourth test, showing the so called limit in your system.

It's obvious what the document implies, you think you can manipulate people with a small technicality like that, and you know what, maybe you can twist a few....actually a lot of heads here on boxingscene, but you can't fool everyone.

Wilder has the opportunity to fight for 5 million dollars, and impose even stricter testing on Povetkin to ensure he's actually clean. On top of this, a win over Povetkin actually legitimises Wilder as a decent HW contender.

Its obvious the 'failing a test means you go to the back of the queue' manta doesn't apply with Wilder, as his next opponent got a crack at a 'world title' despite failing a test last time round.

Seems like a no brainer to me. But I guess he's not obligated to do so

Arreola didn't fail a test for a performance enhancing drug. That's the difference.

If anything Arreola took a reverse performance enhancer.

I think it only looks as if Ryabinsky retaliated. He was quoted in the Russian press pretty much threatening a lawsuit well before Wilder's team sued him. It just took him 10 days longer to go to court.

VADA did the testing, WBC made the rules, so WADA shouldn't even be a concern. Just like NSAC and USADA have differing rule the WBC can as well. And like I said any amount should be too much.
