travolta is like deniro, he's pretty much the same character every film, and people love that character because he's extremely charismatic. watch him in a film like BASIC, he's just having fun and being himself. ed norton is a far better actor than travolta on pure talent alone, but like i said in the other thread, i'd bet my balls that between the two of them norton is by far the bigger douchebag, anyway, lol, it isn't even a contest between travolta and oldman in terms of pure acting ability. think of it this way, travolta is a tall, italian pretty boy and oldman is a little pasty brit, if travolta looked like oldman nobody would know who he is. same goes for tom cruise in case that comes up next

Travolta is great, why all the hate? I don't think there is many actors out there that have had the consistency in versatility as Oldman, so it's an obvious no contest between the two.
